		<description>Ha! Top list. I'd be tempted to add V'ger in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Dunno why but it annoyed me - maybe I should just blame the film.

Next you might want to compile a list of Movies Where The Dog Survives. Because in American movies at least, dogs ALWAYS survive whatever natural disasters befalls the human race (and they're usually golden labradors, too. Movies are racialist). The first 2 that come to mind are Dante's Peak and Independence Day.</description>

		<description>Thanks Jon! I would've gone more in depth about Superman III but that scene where she gets sucked into the supercomputer was dark, and it scarred me mentally as a child...I'm still trying to blank it out.</description>

Also, Superman 3 deserves more of a mention, where falling backwards into a HPC means that you become a cyborg.</description>
